Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

The main ways that the DCCR reaches out to our community is through prayer meetings, Life in the Spirit Seminars, Masses for healing, and our annual Conference. Explore this site for more information about our events.

All you people clap your hands; shout to God with cries of gladness. (Psalms 47:2)

God deserves all our praise, a way of showing our gratitude for all HE has done, is doing and wants to do in our lives. A way we offer our praise to HIM.

For your kindness is a greater good than life; my lips shall glorify you. Thus will I bless you while I live; lifting up my hands, I will call upon your name. (Psalms 63:4-5)

Lifting our hands is a surrendering to GOD. It is a way by which we can respond from our hearts, demonstrating our love before HIM during a song that is sung or our agreement with a word that is spoken or our reaching out with our hearts in prayer.

Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all my being, bless His holy name. (Psalms 103:1)
All raised their voices in prayer to God… (Acts 4:24)

Praise releases the Power of the Holy Spirit and causes Him to move upon us and through us. Praise breaks strongholds over Gods people; Praise lifts us up and glorifies God as we lift Him up with our praise.

Let the word of Christ, rich as it is dwell in you. In wisdom made perfect, instruct and admonish one another. Sing gratefully to God from your hearts in psalms, hymns and inspired songs. (Colossians 3:16)

Lifting our voices in song to the Lord rises like incense to God's throne and becomes a sweet fragrance unto Him. Singing lightens our hearts and causes our burdens to be lifted.

If I pray in a tongue, my spirit is at prayer but my mind contributes nothing. What is my point here? I want to pray with my spirit and also to pray with my mind. I want to sing with my spirit and with my mind as well. (1 Corinthians 14:14-15)
All were filled with the Holy Spirit, they began to express themselves in foreign tongues* and make bold proclamation as the Spirit prompted them. (Acts 2:4)

Singing and praying in tongues is the presence of the Holy Spirit moving in and through us praising God.

Yet an hour is coming and is already here when authentic worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. Indeed, it is just such worshippers the Father seeks. God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. ( John 4:23‑24)
The best we have is to be presented to God in worship. We are created to worship God now in this life and in heaven for all eternity!
Prophecy is speaking the truth according to God, which is the ultimate truth given by the Holy Spirit. Prophecy has never been put forward by man’s willing it. It is rather that men impelled by the Holy Spirit have spoken under God’s influence. (2 Peter 1:21)

Looking for a way to be spiritually refreshed? A Life in the Spirit Seminar is exactly what you need! Music, presentations, and friendly people, all in the same place to lift your spirit.
